Abstract

This study aims to test and demonstrate empirically the effect of total quality management on managerial performance with the reward system as a moderating variable on manufacturing companies in the city of Palembang. The population in this study were all managers working in manufacturing company in the city of Palembang. Sample set by using purposive sampling. Research samples spread over 18 manufacturing companies in the city of Palembang. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis to test the significance of individual parameters and SPSS Version 17. In order for good regression results, performed classical assumption that consist of normality test, multikolineiritas. The results show that the first hypothesis (H1) which states influence TQM positive effect on managerial performance, acceptable. As well as the second hypothesis (H2) states influence the application of TQM and reward systems negatively affect managerial performance, rejected.
