Abstract

EF English First Palembang is an English language course institution engaged in educational services. The objective of this research is to build software employee payroll system in the course institutions EF English First Palembang. This is done because in the course institutions EF English First Palembang still doing payroll manually so that employees can cause errors in the process of counting staff salaries. Research methods used were interviews, observation and literature study in order to collect data. System development method used is waterfall method. Software applications built using Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 for database. The conclusions of software in computerized payroll system stores all its data into the database, resulting in a salary data faster and more accurate than the manual system.
