Abstract

PT. Musi Prima Karsa is a company engaged in loading and unloading. The purpose of this practical work is to design a ship loading and unloading information system as a medium for shipping data information in order to produce accurate information, minimize data redundancy and present updated information at PT. Musi Prima Karsa. The design of the application uses a prototype system development model and uses Balsamiq Mockups as its design and Visio design for an overview of program and database designs. This application is very much needed by PT. Musi Prima Karsa because in the company there is no system for data collection and reporting of ship loading and unloading at the company, so that the data is archived on paper which is often scattered and lost data.
