Abstract

Technology is built to help process the performance of one of them in a company. At PT. PRATAMA PALM ABADI which is one of the oil palm plantation companies where employees must be able to understand the use of technology in order to carry out their duties effectively and efficiently. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the use of technology for employees and therefore this study tries to measure the level of performance. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that influence the performance of employees at PT. Palm Palm Abadi in carrying out each work assignment. The research method uses task-technology fit. The sample used was 81 employee respondents in the finance, accounting, casher, administration, HRD, marketing, purchasing divisions. Using multiple linear regression analysis as a data analysis technique. The results of the study show that task characteristics variables, technological characteristics together, task characteristics variables, technological characteristics that partially have a significant effect on task-technology fit, and task-technology fit variables partially influence the utilization while the utilization variables partially do not significant effect on employee performance.
