Abstract
Academic stress is stress that occurs in the educational environment, this is caused by high expectations, information overload, academic pressure, unrealistic ambitions, limited opportunities, and high competitiveness. With the problems that arise, comes a thought to do everything possible to achieve what is desired. Cheating intention can be interpreted as someone's intention or desire to cheat. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between academic stress and students' cheating intentions. This study used a quantitative method with a total of 70 student respondents obtained from snowball sampling. The variables in this study were academic stress and students' cheating intentions. The data collection tool uses a Likert scale via Google Form. Hypothesis testing using pearson product moment. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between academic stress and students' cheating intentions, with a correlation coefficient of 0.386 (low) with a significance value of 0.001. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between academic stress and students' cheating intentions. Keywords : Academic stress, Cheating intention, College students
