Abstract

CV. Atet Express is one of the companies engaged in the field of transport services in the city of Palembang.These companies send goods only one purpose and that the area Pagaralam.The company has experienced a problem in predicting the type of goods and the number of items to be sent to the consumer to the enterprise,For that it will build an application that can predict the type of goods and the amount of goods on freight forwarders. This application will be built in a way to collect the data history of consumer goods have been sent to the company in September 2014 expedition from the coast in January 2015 and predictions will be calculated using the trend of the moment.moment trend method is a method of forecasting calculations in the future and is also used to calculate the type of data that contains elements of seasonal.system applications to be built aims to facilitate companies seeking information forecasting the type of goods and the amount of goods quickly.This application is built by using Visual Basic 2012 as the programming language.and SQL Server 2008 as its database storage.results percentage forecasting error rate using the mean Absolute percentage error and the result of the error rate using this type of regular goods namely electronic goods - 0.28 8% while the type of seasonal goods, namely food and beverages -1.98 4%. the larger the negative value, the better the level of forecasting.
