Abstract

Palembang Catholic Centre is an integrated Catholic religion activity complex accommodates the religion activities and Catholic pastoral activities. All of them accommodated in five buildings and an open area. The aim of this complex such as office for the Diocese commissions and the Diocese’s categorical group and to accommodate the activities that held by them, that still on the Palembang City area. The theme of this complex is “Bahtera” (Ark) that took from a Bible verse, “Duc in Altum”, Latin for “Launch out into the deep” (Luk. 5:4). The concept is urban tropical on metaphor.
