Abstract
Background: Stress in college students is a psychological condition that arises when individuals experience pressure or demands that exceed their adaptive capacity, resulting in feelings of distress and an inability to cope. Stress in college students is often caused by demanding assignments and practical exams designed to evaluate learning outcomes, which can disrupt a person's activities and eating patterns. Objective: To determine the level of stress and eating patterns in nursing students. Method: This research used a descriptive survey approach with quantitative research. A total sampling technique was used, with 63 nursing students participating. The respondents met the inclusion criteria of third-year nursing students who were willing to participate and the exclusion criteria of students who did not attend the study. The questionnaire was used as a measurement tool. Results: Most students had moderate stress levels (31 students (49.2%), and 59 (93.7%) had good eating patterns. Conclusion: Most students have moderate stress levels and good eating habits. Recommendation: Students should maintain their health by controlling and managing stress effectively, avoiding negative thoughts, and maintaining a balanced diet according to their needs.
