Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Asset Growth, Independent Commissioners, and Board Size on Financial Distress, focusing on property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, covering the 2020-2024 period. The data used are secondary data. The population in this study is large property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 135 samples of 27 companies. Hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Asset Growth has no significant effect on Financial Distress, while Independent Commissioners and Board Size have a significant negative effect on Financial Distress.
