Abstract
This study aims to examine the direct effect of job insecurity and role ambiguity on stres kerja among outsorcing employees assigned to hospitals in Palembang City. The study population includes all outsorcing employees working in the designated hospitals. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on the Lemeshow formula, resulting in a total of 107 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaire distribution and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that job insecurity and role ambiguity have a positive and significant effect on stres kerja. These findings suggest that an increased perception of job insecurity and unclear role expectations may intensify stress levels, which in turn could reduce employee performance and negatively impact organizational outcomes
