Abstract

Palembang Playfield Kid's Academy is an educational unit that provide education for children in a playing field that has stretched position in an open space in the city of Palembang. Education is emphasized in Palembang Playfield Kid's Academy is a sports education. Palembang Playfield Kid's Academy was developed with a child in sports that can support the creativity and potential of children so that children do not feel overwhelmed, but otherwise the child will feel relaxed and happy to undergo physical activity. Sports that will be developed in Palembang Playfield Kid's Academy is swimming, futsal, tennis, table tennis, badminton, basketball, climbing, gymnastics, zumba, as well as ballet and modern dance classes dance. In Palembang area Playfield Kid's Academy will be designed with the outdoor space and indoor areas with five mass of the building. Themes are applied in the design of Palembang Playfield Kid's Academy is "Triple Play Healthy Habits". Triple play means coordinate brain games, physical, and psychological of children. The theme of "Triple Play Healthy Habits" embodied in buildings through expressionist architectural style. and reinforced with architectural approaches metaphor.
