Abstract

This research attempts to examine the effect of the democratic leadership style on employee performance on SMP Xavier 2 Palembang. The sample used in this research were 32 respondents. Hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis using SPSS Software support for windows 23. The test results said that the democratic leadership style have a positive significant effect on employee performance. Based on the value of Adjusted R Square is 0.667, which means that 66.7% variable employee performance can be explained by the democratic leadership style variable, while the remaining 33.3% of employee performance can be explained by other variables not examined in this research.
