Abstract
This study aims to determine whether the motivation andself-efficacy may affect the relationship between budgetary participation andmanagerial performance in the company's hotel services subdistrict of East andWest Ilir inPalembang. Samples are middle managers who work in hospitality inthe city of Palembang by using purposive sampling technique. Samples wereobtained by 50 managers from 25 hotels. Methods of data analysis to test thehypothesis using moderating regression analysis (MRA), by using SPSS ver. 17.0 .The results showed that motivation and self-efficacy are not ableto moderate the relationship between budgetary participation and managerialperformance.
