Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, profitability and asset structure on the capital structure of companies in the food and beverage sub-sector. The data used is secondary data. This data was obtained through annual or financial reports of companies in the food and beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. This type of research uses causal associative using quantitative techniques. The population of this research is the food and beverage sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling and obtained 29 companies with a total of 87 samples. This study used several data analysis techniques including descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing. The results of this study are that liquidity affects the capital structure of companies in the food and beverage sub-sector, profitability affects the capital structure of companies in the food and beverage sub-sector, and asset structure affects the capital structure of companies in the food and beverage sub-sector.
