Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of asset structure and profitability on debt policy in state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a research period of 2018-2021. The data used in this research is secondary data. The population in this study are state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 84 samples consisting of 21 companies. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple linear regression analysis. The results of testing the hypothesis in this study indicate that asset structure has no effect on debt policy, while profitability has an influence on debt policy.
