Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, business risk, and asset structure on debt policy by focusing on State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with a research period of 2017-2021. The data used is secondary data. The population in this study are state-owned enterprises (BUMN) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 21 companies with a total of 105 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that profitability has no negative effect on debt policy, business risk has no negative effect on debt policy, and asset structure has a negative effect on debt policy.
