Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and career development on the job hopping intention of the millennial generation and gen Z. The data used is secondary data. The population in this study are millennial and gen Z employees who work in the service sector in Palembang City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 131 respondents. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that compensation has a negative and significant effect on job hopping intention, the career development variable has a negative and significant effect on job hopping intention.
