Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the proportion of independent commissioners, free cash flow on agency costs in manufacturing companies with a research period of 2019-2021. This study uses secondary data. The population of this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This study used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 156 companies with a total of 468 samples. Hypothesis testing is done using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results obtained show that the proportion of independent commissioners and free cash flow has no effect on agency costs.
