Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and work-life balance on turnover intention of generation Y employees in Palembang City. The data used is primary and secondary data. The population in this study was 311,963 generation Y employees in Palembang City (Palembang Labor Statistics in 2020). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and snowball sampling and obtained 151 samples. Hypothesis testing is done with multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on turnover intention and work-life balance has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention of generation Y employees in Palembang City.
