Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has the largest Muslim population in the world. In the teachings of Islam, there are three aspects that must be considered, namely Aqidah, Sharia, and Morals. To fulfill the three aspects of Islamic religious teachings, a place is needed to carry them out, namely The Islamic Center. Islamic Center is a building that has a function as a center for Islamic activities. The Islamic Center is classified into 4 levels including the central level, regional level, district level, and sub-district level. Currently, there is no Islamic Center with a regional level in Palembang. An Islamic Center is urgently needed in Palembang because Palembang is a city with the largest Muslim population. Besides that, mosques in Palembang hopefully can be organized through an Islamic Center. Therefore, this Islamic Center will be used as a design in this planning and design to fill the needs of Muslim to do Islamic activities. Keywords: Islamic Center, Palembang
