Abstract

The study aims to determine whether earnings per share are able to moderate the effect of trading liquidity on stock split. The theory in used in this research are trading theory and contigency theory. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2017-2021. The sampling technique in this study was a purposive sampling technique with 386 company samples. In analyzing the research data using the SPSS 23 application. Tests were carried out using logistic regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that Earning per share is not able to moderate the relationship between trading liquidity and stock split.
