Abstract

Domestic sugar industry has a lot of market demand Sindang that must be fulfilled, so there is some demand is not met because the production process is only done a few people. In addition, the organization of work in industrial settings is less attention as irregular working hours because the industry is still classified as domestic industry, then the absence of breaks so it must work continuously from 8 am to 5 pm and it will resulting in decreased productivity. In addition to overtime, the workers are not given extra pay. Ergonomics also include the organization of work in a company. In ergonomics this organization can be seen regarding communication in the work environment, the design work time. This research will discuss the calculation of productivity, cycle time, normal time, standard time, calorie needs and labor requirements. In this research, the initial observation, then look at the problem in the industry, and then implement organizational design to solve problems. Each of the above calculation is always performed before and after the test cobapada this study. So in the end akana obtain maximum results. Productivity prior to 25.6% after 26. 9% while productivity. So is the cycle time, normal time, standard time before the trial 25 minutes; 28.3 minutes; 30,4 minutes while after the trial 17 minutes; 19.2 minutes; 21 minutes. And for caloric needs before testing 3074 kcal, while after 2174 kcal. And in the end needs additional manpower is needed as much as 2 people.
