Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of production cost efficiency on the performance of micro, small and medium enterprises with sales volume as an intervening variable in the culinary field in the city of Palembang. The data used is primary data. The population in this study are SMEs engaged in the culinary field. The sampling technique used was the convenience sampling method and 100 samples of SMEs were obtained. Hypothesis testing is done by path analysis with the help of the PSPP program. The results of this study indicate that production cost efficiency can directly affect MSME performance, and sales volume is able to mediate the relationship between production cost efficiency and MSME performance.
