Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of debt policy and enterprise risk management on financial distress by focusing on manufacturing companies in the metal and similar sub-sectors that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a research period of 2019-2021. The data used is secondary data. The population in this study are metal and similar sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was the non-probablity sampling method and purposive sampling as the sample determination technique and 15 companies were obtained with a total of 45 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that debt policy has no effect on financial distress and enterprise risk management has no effect on financial distress.
