Abstract

Practical Work is one of the compulsory subjects for architecture students. This course aims to study the world of work directly, both in the field of construction and offices. This study serves as a comparison for students so that they can apply and adjust the knowledge gained theoretically while studying at the university with knowledge obtained directly from work institutions, both design science and field knowledge. In writing this practical work report, the author uses data collection methods in the form of literature studies from book sources, research journals, discussions with office supervisors, and direct observations in the field. Projects undertaken include design of office buildings, houses, and interior design. The location of the office where this practical work was carried out is located at Green Resort Housing, Jalan Bypass Soekarno - Hatta, Alang-alang Lebar, Km 12, Palembang. In order to gain sufficient experience and knowledge, the author does practical work at the Green Resort Office starting from Friday, July 1 to Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
