Abstract
This study aim to examine the influence of CEO’s characteristics on capital structure decision. The theory used in this study is the Upper Echelons Theory. The population is all companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2013-2017, while the samples is 80 companies using non-probability sampling techniques of purposive sampling (judgement sampling). This study uses analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) to test the hypothesis with the help of the SPSS 24.0 program. The result of the study show that CEO’s tenure and CEO’s gender effect on capital structure decision. Keywords : Capital Structure Decision, CEO’s Characteristics, CEO’s tenure, and CEO’s gender
