Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and personality on the performance of Xaverius Junior High School teachers in Palembang. The sample used in this research is a teacher at Xaverius Junior High School in Pelembang as many as 85 people. Data collection in this study using questionnaire data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of spss 17. The results obtained showed that simultaneously emotional intelligence and personality variables significantly influence the performance of junior high school teacher Xaverius in Palembang. Partially the variable of emotional intelligence does not significantly influence the performance of Xaverius Junior High School teachers in Palembang, while the personality variable significantly influences the performance of Xaverius Junior High School teachers in Palembang.
