Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of commitment to the work discipline of the employee of the Pabrik Kue Kering Cahaya Baru Palembang. The type of this research is case study, population and sample of 50 employees of Pabrik Kue Kering Cahaya Baru Palembang. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Data analysis technique used in this research is simple linear regression analysis to know the influence of commitment to work discipline by using SPSS version 20. Test t have siginifikansi equal to 0,070 which mean bigger than 0,05 indicate that commitment does not have significant effect to employee work discipline Pabrik Kue Kering Cahaya Baru Palembang. The r square data obtained is 0.067 or 6.7%. The results of this study indicate that the variables of work discipline can be explained by the commitment variable while the remaining 93.3% work discipline variable can be explained by the variable not examined in this study.
