Abstract

Varieties of research and development of science annually continues to grow. One of the study program at the Graduate School of Gadjah Mada University who recently established and continues to experience growth is the Culture and Media Studies (KBM). In the program consists of S2 (master's degree) and program S3 (doctorate). Study program of Media and Cultural Studies (KBM) is an interdisciplinary study program, which utilizes various theories from various disciplines preexisting such as communication science, philosophy, politics, sociology and even cultural sciences eg anthropology, information and library science. So because of the interdisciplinary nature then, indirectly influence the type of existing courses and influenced the literature that will be used until the scientific papers produced as theses and dissertations. This paper is a literature review dissertation year 2014-2015 which is the study of bibliometric approaches CoClassification. The purpose of this study was to determine the core and support literature, the language used and the type of literary format. The results showed the core literature the KBM year dissertation 2014-2105 is the science of communication, while the breadth of supporting literature include philosophy, psychology, politics, military, trade, folklore, linguistics, geology, art, architecture, travel, archeology, religion, literature, biography, journalists, economic, traditional medicine, history. The format of the literature which used the most is the kind of monographs. While the language most widely used literature is literature in Indonesian language.
