Abstract

The rapid development of technology from year to year has been widely implemented in various government and private agencies. Along with the times, technology has greatly affected the lives of people and the environment around them. The existence of technology has also made many human jobs much easier. One of the uses of technology is in the school library which is a source of reference and learning facilities for students and teachers. In the interview session, the officer recounted the difficulty in finding the position of the books returned by students, due to the many types of books available, making it difficult to remember the appropriate placement of books. Therefore an analysis is needed to determine the position of the book, the analysis is applied to the library website. With the Implementation of Hash Based Algorithm in Book Positioning at Xaverius 2 Palembang SDK's Library. The resulting system is able to recommend book layouts using the Hash Based Algorithm and the officers find it helpful in placing books that have been borrowed by Keywords : Technology ; Library ; Website ; Hash Based
