Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is one many best tourist destinations in the world for foreign tourists. One of the cities that is a tourism destination in Indonesia is the city of Palembang. Palembang is a city that is rich in natural resources, culinary variety, and unique culture. This can make potential tourists interested in visiting the city of Palembang. The tourists who visit the city of Palembang will bring home souvenirs for friends and family or just as memories. This can be a kind of clothing, ordinary souvenirs, or even a fashion art that only exist in Palembang, art objects, or consumer goods. The city of Palembang also has several things that stand out such as culinary and souvenirs that are different from other big cities. Based on this, the city of Palembang has potential in the tourism sector. Therefore, it takes a place as a souvenir and culinary center as a tourist destination, namely Palembang Souvenir Shopping Street. The designer will present a one-stop shopping area and a typical tourist atmosphere of Palembang city with a post-modern neo-vernacular architectural style and using Souvenir Touring as a theme to become a tourist destination that can meet all the needs of visitors.
