Abstract

ABSTRACT This study have a purpose to know how isvariable intellectual capital has an influence on stock prices through the company's financial performance. The theory in this research is resource based theory and signalling theory.The population is all of the finance sector companies listed on the IDX as many as 273 companies, while the sample is chosen based on purposive samplingtechnique, so get sample as many as 160 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of intellectual capital on stock prices with the company's financial performance as an intervening variable. The company's financial performance is calculated by return of assets, return on equity and net profit margin. The results show that return of assets and return on equity can mediate the relationship of intellectual capital to stock prices. While the net profit margin cannot mediate the relationship of intellectual capital to stock prices.
