Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFORT OF THE PRINCIPAL IN IMPLEMENTING MANAGERIAL FUNCTIONS FOR CLASS TEACHERS AT XAVERIUS 9 SD PALEMBANG This study aims to determine the principal's efforts in implementing managerial functions for classroom teachers in the standard learning process at SD Xaverius 9 Palembang. The principal's efforts focus on 8 managerial functions, namely planning, organizing, motivating, staffing, directing or commanding, leading, coordinating, and controlling. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used semi-structured interview techniques, passive participatory observation and documentation in the form of data, documents and pictures. The type of data used is primary data. The subjects of this study were the principal, and class teacher at SD Xaverius 9 Palembang. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the principal's efforts in implementing the managerial function of classroom teachers at SD Xaverius 9 Palembang were carried out and running well. So that the researchers obtained the chart that the researchers created that the principal managed to carry out 8 managerial functions for classroom teachers.
