Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of number of board of commissioners, proportion of female board of directors, amount of foreign ownership of shares to the broad disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in mining companies listed on the IDX. This study uses Legitimacy Theory and Agency Theory as the theory. The population is all companies listed on IDX with 105 mining companies as samples collected from 2016 - 2018. The data analysis is multiple regression analysis to know the effect of number of board of commissioners, proportion of female board of directors, amount of foreign ownership of shares to the broad disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The result showed that number of board commisioners have positive affect to the broad disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility, while proportion of female board of directors, amount of foreign ownership of shares had no affect.
