Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out whether the contribution and effectiveness of regional retribution on regional original income in the Regency and City of the Province of South Sumatra. Using contribution analysis and effectiveness ratio to measure the effect of regional retribution on local revenue. The population in this study is the District and City of South Sumatra Province as many as 17 Regencies and Cities of South Sumatra Province using purposive sampling method. The results of the research obtained indicate the level of effectiveness of regional levies on the original income of the Regency and City of South Sumatra Province.
