Abstract

ABSTRACT This study tested the effect of the Machiavellian and love of money on auditor’s ethic. The population in this study were all the auditors that working at accounting firms at Palembang City. The sample set by using total sampling. Samples on this study were 43 auditors from 9 accounting firms at Palembang. The method of collecting data is by using questionnaire. Data were tested using multiple regression analysis with SPSS Statistics 20. The results of this study indicate that the first hypothesis which stated that Machiavellian of the auditor’s ethic is not acceptable. The second hypothesis which stated love of money of the auditor’s ethic is not acceptable. Keywords: Machiavellian, Love of Money, Auditor’s Ethic.
