Abstract

UPTD BLKI Manpower and Transmigration South Sumatra Province has the tasks of workforce skills training in various industrial fields. Based on this research, the data processing system and still use a simple on UPTD BLKI Manpower and Transmigration Agency of South Sumatra province, it is very difficult for staff in the process of presenting information so that the information generated is slow but it also spends a lot of time because it is always repeated checks of the data and reports generated causes less accurate and effective. Therefore, the authors feel the need to create a system of education and training information, hoping to overcome the weaknesses and shortcomings of the old system. The information system of the new education and training can be done quickly, though the amount of data and reports included relatively much can be achieved as much as possible so that errors in completing the report can be resolved better. Software development using the waterfall method. Development starts from the analysis, design, implementation, testing. Implementation of information systems education and training to use the software as Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and SQL Server 2000 as the database server-based client. Testing is done by using black box testing. The results provide convenience to the staff in theprocess of presenting information and processing data in UPTD BLKI Manpower and Transmigration South Sumatra Province.
