Abstract

This paper discussed the phenomenon of window dressing in stock exchange LQ45 index. The population in this study is a company in the Indonesian stock exchange incorporated in LQ45 index. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method, where the company sampled based on certain criteria. Research samples obtained are as many as 23 companies. The aim of this research was to determine whether there is the phenomenon of window dressing, in a company incorporated in LQ45. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test, stock returns LQ45 index in December is always positive. This suggests that H1 is accepted, that there is the phenomenon of window dressing in the LQ45 index. Keywords : Return Stocks, stock exchange LQ45 index, and Window Dressing
