Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of gender, education and work experience on the quality of reports on internal audit results in companies registered with State-Owned Enterpises in the Palembang area. This type of research is causal associative through a quantitative approach. The data used is primary data derived from respondent’s answers to questionnaires distributed online using Google Form. The population in this research is the internal auditor of a state-owned company in the Palembang area. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and the respondents who fill out the questionnarie are 47 internal auditors. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that gender and work experience have no effect on the quality of internal audit reports, while education effects the quality of internal audit reports in companies registered in BUMN Palembang Region.
