Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of institutional ownership, return on assets, and current ratio of financial distress by focusing on the state-owned enterprises listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with research period in 2016-2020. The data used in this research are secondary data. The population in this study are state-owned enterprises listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling selection method used was purposive sampling and obtained 22 companies with total of 110 samples. The analytical tool used in this study was the linear regression analysis. The results of this research showed that institutional ownership has negative effect on financial distress, while return on assets and current ratio has a positive effect on financial distress.
