Abstract

PT. Sriwijaya Palm Oil Indonesia is one of the companies engaged in the processing of palm oil. Palm oil processing produces liquid waste in the form of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) which is processed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). POME which is treated anaerobically produces methane and carbon dioxide. The resulting methane can be a source of Bio-gas Power Plants (BgPP). This research raises the topic of BgPP Investment Feasibility Analysis in WWTP PT. Sriwijaya Palm Oil Indonesia. Therefore, the design of BgPP is carried out, analysis of technical and technological aspects, and analysis of financial aspects. things that need to be planned in PLTBG Design include BgPP components, BgPP layout, BgPP development process, instrumentation and control systems, and estimated costs of BgPP installation. Analysis of technical and technological aspects consists of 6 stages, namely location and layout studies, technology selection, plant potential analysis, estimation of electricity capacity generated, benefits, and risks. The analysis of the financial aspect consists of 3 methods, there is Net Present Value of Rp. 365,497,352, the Profitability Index which has a ratio of 1.008038368, and the Payback Period of 21,316 years. From the results of the investment analysis, it can be stated that BgPP is feasible to invest in WWTP PT. Sriwijaya Palm Oil Indonesia. Keywords: investment feasibility analysis, BgPP, POME
