Abstract

The development of technology which is growing rapidly from year to year, especially the , has been implemented in various government and private agencies to simplify the work process. One of them is the school, in this case especially the school library which can be a source of reference and learning facilities for students and teachers. In this case study, the SDK Frater Xaverius 2 Palembang library still collects data on members, books and the process of borrowing and returning books is still done manually, so that data errors often occur, late reports and services to members are not optimal. The library application is made useful to minimize errors. The tools used to create applications include CodeIgniter 3, Xampp, Notepaad, Flow of Document, Context Diagram, DFD and ERD. From making this library application, it is hoped that it can work optimally. And can help and facilitate librarians in improving service to members. As well as to add value to this system, some features that are not included in the system reviewed at the end of the report can be added. Keywords: Technology, Schools, Libraries, CodeIgniter 3
