Abstract

Hotel Santika Radial Palembang is the hotel that located at the center of Palembang city, it’s address Jl. HM Dhani Effendi (Jl. Radial). Hotel Santika Radial Palembang has been operating for almost 5 years. Hotel Santika Radial Palembang has several work units, one of which is the Accounting section. The Accounting work unit also has several more sub-sections. From these several subsections, the focus of the research is on the store sub-section (stock control). In this sub-section, it is found that the problem is that in the process of calculating the stock of items is still done manually. Therefore, a stock monitoring application was made with a web-based notification feature to help admin get faster and easier in the process of calculating the stock of items and searching for previous data. This application was built using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and problem analysis using PIECES method. The implementation of the stock monitoring application with the web-based notification feature is expected to help the hotel to monitor items and stock of items.
