Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of political connection and ownership structure of firm performance by focusing on the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with research period in 2017-2020. The data used in research are secondary data. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling selection method used purposive sampling and obtained 133 companies with total 359 samples. The analytical tool used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS program ver.26. The result of this research showed that political connection has positive effect on firm performance and ownership structure has no effect on firm performance Keywords: Political Connection, Ownership Structure, Firm Performance
