Abstract

Today the effectiveness of the travel time is very important in life, especially for transport users. in the case of delivery of food packages at Rumah Makan Pondok Kaya Rasa, new employees experienced many obstacles in determining the shortest route to the customer. In this study, the shortest route search application built using the PHP programming language with the methods used Dijkstra. Dijkstra's algorithm is one of the shortest route search method that is frequently used, Dijkstra's algorithm calculates the smallest weighting of each node trajectory, in order to obtain the shortest route from point of origin to point of destination. Results from this study is a program that was built to be able to help determine the shortest route shipments of food, especially for new employees eating houses, thus increasing revenue Eating and reduce operating costs such as fuel usage and vehicle spare parts.
