Abstract

This study aims to examine wheter budgetary participation and self esteem affect budgetary slack by focusing on the 3-5 star hospitality industry in Palembang city. The data used in this study is primary data. The population in this study were hotel managers in the city of Palembang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 20 hotels with a total of 59 samples. Testing this hypothesis is done by multiplt regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that budgetary participation and self esteem have no effect on budgetary slack. Keywords : Budgetary Participation, Self Esteem, Budgetary Slack.
