Abstract
Rooftop Hydrofarm is a garden that produces vegetables using the hydroponic method of growing. From the field study, it was found that the schedule currently used still causes a lot of idle on planting media when the scheduling block changes which causes a decrease in production capacity, namely increasing the time needed to produce vegetables. The determination of the planting schedule in Rooftop Hydrofarm until now uses trial and error method and causes the schedule obtained is still not optimal in terms of continuity and production capacity. Therefore, this study aims to plan a model that can produce a sustainable planting schedule by considering and increasing the continuity and production capacity. The development of this model will be carried out using a goal programming approach without a priority goal which is an extension of linear programming. First, a model formulation is carried out based on the policy in the garden to obtain an equation that will produce an appropriate planting schedule, then scenarios is carried out to obtain the number of periods that meet the criteria and according to the needs for each type of plant. The schedule results obtained for plant species 1, 2, and 3 show a decrease in the time required to complete a cycle or scheduling block, which is 4 days for plant species 1 and 2, and a decrease of 3 days for plant type 3, while for plant species 4 there is a decrease of 1 day to complete 3 planting blocks.
