Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic is a disease outbreak caused by the corovirus disease. In Indonesia, the prevalence of COVID-19 cases as of March 18, 2021, reached 6,479,009 positive for COVID-19, 1,443,853 people recovered and 39,142 people died. Pregnant women are a group at risk of exposure to COVID-19. Anxiety will cause pregnant women to delay pregnancy checks. Objective: This study aims to describe the anxiety of pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic during pregnancy check-ups at BPS "L" Talang Kelapa. Methods: This research was conducted at BPS "L" Talang Kelapa on 19 May-30 May 2021. This type of quantitative research used a quantitative descriptive design. The population in this study were all pregnant women who had their pregnancy checked at BPS "L" Talang Kelapa. The sample consists of 40 respondents with accidental sampling method. Collecting data using a questionnaire.Statistical test using univariate test. Results: The age of pregnant women 17-25 years 47.5% and 26-35 years 47.5%, the characteristics of the 2nd trimester gestational age were 21 people (52.5%), secondary education 65% and the anxiety of pregnant women during the COVID19 pandemic, namely moderate anxiety 47.5%, severe anxiety 22.5%, panic 15%, mild anxiety 12.5% and not anxious 2.5%. Suggestion: It is expected that pregnant women are not anxious and do not delay pregnancy checks because it will have an impact on the health of the mother and fetus.
