Abstract
Background: The incidence of Covid-19 cases is increasing every day so that health workers as the front line are increasingly depressed, because they carry out care and examination of patients with incomplete PPE so that many nurses will be at risk of exposure, worrying about the health of themselves and their families. Objective: To find out the factors related to nurses' anxiety in providing nursing care to patients with Covid-19 symptoms at the Palembang Private Hospital Methods: quantitative, cross sectional design, total sampling technique, a population of 56 respondents, using the Kendall Tau test and Fisher extract. Research Results: The results of the univariate research showed that most of the nurses were female 51 respondents, late adulthood 37 respondents, working years > 4 years, education DIII Nursing 52, married family status 52, high self-efficacy 29, moderate anxiety 36. Results Bivariate research showed that there was a relationship between completeness of PPE with anxiety experienced by nurses with r = -0.284 and (p = 0.032) and self-efficacy with nurse anxiety with r = -0.481 and (p = 0.001) and family status with anxiety experienced by nurses. with (p = 1,000). Suggestion: Nurses are expected to be able to control the anxiety experienced by using complete PPE, increasing high self-confidence during the current Covid-19 pandemi. keywords : completeness of PPE, family status, self-efficacy, nurse anxiety, alfabet
