Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic progressive disease characterized by the inability of the body to metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins which causes hyperglycemia. Diabetes Mellitus often occurs at the age of over 40 years, there is a hereditary history of diabetes, and being too fat is a major risk factor for someone to develop diabetes. The purpose of writing this Scientific Paper is so that the author is able to conduct assessments and evaluate nursing care in patients with Mr. P with Endocrine System Disorders: Type II diabetes mellitus using the nursing process approach method.Writing Scientific Writing uses the Case Study method: Interview, Physical Examination, Observation for 3 days. After conducting the assessment, 4 nursing diagnoses were obtained, namely ineffective peripheral perfusion, instability of blood glucose levels, Nausea, and impaired skin integrity. The patient went home on the 5th day of treatment. The conclusion that can be drawn from this scientific paper is that in Diagnosis 1: Ineffective peripheral perfusion is associated with hyperglycemia and decreased hemoglobin concentration is resolved by the patient going home. Diagnosis 2: Instability of blood glucose levels associated with insulin resistance resolves patient discharge. Diagnosis 3: Nausea associated with biochemical disturbances: urea disorders resolved the patient goes home. Diagnosis 4: Impaired skin integrity associated with insufficient exposure to information resolved patients going home.
